One of our favorite internet resources for storytelling and story design is Inside the Story Magazine. This web-native magazine is the brainchild of producer Adam Westbrook who lives in the UK. Adam is so passionate about stories that he decided to take a break from storytelling himself and study story narrative and story design in depth. Lucky for us, he uses the magazine to tell readers what he’s learned.
What’s great about this magazine is that Adam spends weeks or months going down storytelling worm holes, interviewing filmmakers and producers, reading original texts, analyzing different approaches to storytelling and at the end of it he presents his findings to the reader in a digestible way. So far there are 4 issues out and we can’t wait for the next one.
